Milan ‘monitoring the situation’ as €25m signing could be a ‘great opportunity’

Milan are looking for a striker on the market and they have mainly been linked with Olivier Giroud in the last few weeks. However, it seems a younger profile could also arrive, that is in addition to the Frenchman.

The latest name on the Rossoneri’s radar is Sasa Kalajdzic, who was offered to the Rossoneri during a recent meeting. This past season, the Austrian international got 16 goals and 6 assists in 33 league appearances.

In his latest piece for TuttoMercatoWeb, Niccolo Ceccarini discussed Milan’s interest in the 23-year-old striker. He also explained why it could be a great signing for anyone who gets him, mainly for the price and age.

“Milan have no intention of stopping and have targeted Sasa Kalajdzic of Stuttgart, a protagonist with 16 goals in 33 games in the last season in the Bundesliga. A performance that immediately sparked interest from many European clubs.

“Stuttgart, who in 2019 paid him just €2m, values him at least €25m. The young Austrian striker’s contract will expire in June 2023 and he could really become a great market opportunity. Milan are monitoring the situation,” he wrote.

It remains to be seen if Milan will make a serious attempt for Kalajdzic, but the feeling is that they would need to sell an attacker in order to do so. It’s a different story with someone like Amine Adli, who wouldn’t cost that much.
