MN: Milan still keen on 23-year-old attacking midfielder with January bid pondered

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could well go back in for Brest playmaker Romain Faivre during the January transfer window having made an attempt over the summer, a report claims.

MilanNews have given an update in their latest column and mention the Rossoneri’s transfer plans for when the window reopens, with an attacking midfielder to support Brahim Diaz seemingly on the agenda.

Faivre is mentioned as a target, and the 23-year-old was one step away from moving to the Rossoneri during the most recent mercato but then Brest, at the end of August, decided to stop negotiations with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara and removed the Frenchman from the market.

In January, Milan could return with a lower bid than the one they offered in the summer. Much will depend on the condition of the other attacking midfielders in the squad, but it seems certain now that the interest in Faivre has not ended.
