Tuttosport: Milan could be offered out-of-favour Chelsea man ahead of January window

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could be offered the chance to sign Malang Sarr from Chelsea as they look for a new centre-back following Simon Kjaer’s injury, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, one of the profiles that could be offered to Milan after Kjaer’s serious knee injury is that of Chelsea’s Malang Sarr. The French centre-back has barely played under Thomas Tuchel, which means a January exit is more than just a possibility.

The Rossoneri could take advantage of the excellent relations with the Premier League side to sign the 22-year-old, which have been built through various operations such as the Fikayo Tomori, Oliver Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko deals.

Sarr has a contract with Chelsea until 2025 having joined from Nice on a free transfer in the summer of 2020, but he does not seem to be part of Tuchel’s plans as demonstrated by his lack of playing time.
