ML: Milan’s first summer signing imminent with deal worth €10.5m net agreed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to complete their first signing of the summer soon as Divock Origi is very close to agreeing terms, a report claims.

According to MilanLive, only the signatures are missing and then it will be official that Origi will soon be a new Milan player. The Belgian has been convinced by the idea of joining the Rossoneri and will not renew his current contract with Liverpool which expires in June.

Instead, the 26-year-old will sign a three-year deal worth €3.5m net per season with Milan for a total amount of €10.5m. The approval of the ownership Elliott Management has been given to Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara who will now define everything with the player.

He will join the experienced duo of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who are 35 and 40 respectively, that is of course if the Swede extends his deal for another season given his numerous physical problems.

    1. What do you mean? Kalinic never win CL or league,Kalinic only equal to belotti . Origi already win league and CL , training by top coach Juergen Klopp, familiar with Pioli high system’ since Klopp using gegenpressing and don’t mind become giroud reserved. Do you want to sign 40m euro or more striker just to sit on bench? While we need our budget transfer for RW and AMF

    2. We are sitting on top of the table with all of these so called bad signings. I think a little bit of trust can be put into one of the greatest defenders ever to play the game. Safe to say he understands the game a bit more than you.

  1. I think Origi will be a very good signing. He has scored big goals in big games internationally for Belgium and scored the winning goal in Champions League final for Liverpool. He has been on a team with great players like Salah, Mane, Firmino and now Jota so he doesn’t get as many minutes as he deserves. I think he can help us tremendously — we all see the past 2 games we can’t score goals!! We need a man who can score and Origi can score!

    1. well said, supported from Mane, Salah, TAA and further, there is no Milan player at this level, 8 goals might be tooo optimistic. And number 10 and RW should be more important anyway.

  2. what are you two talking about? “supported from” … he DOESN’T GET MINUTES because of those star players! That’s the only reason he had “only” 8 goals — because he barely plays. 8 goals IS ALOT given how few minutes he gets. if he gets minutes, he will get goals. Because that is what he does. He probably has more goals per minutes played than most of his Liverpool teammates and surely our Milan players.
