MN: Milan’s first summer sale imminent as winger will move to Bundesliga for €12m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to collect a nice amount from the sale of winger Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report.

MilanNews reports that the permanent signing of of Jens Petter Hauge by Eintracht Frankfurt is getting closer and closer, and it is because of a clause in the deal that was agreed between the two clubs during the negotiations last summer.

The Norwegian winger was sold by the Rossoneri with the formula of a loan with option to buy that would then become an obligation to buy once Eintracht avoided relegation and thus secured their top-flight status for another season.

Five games from the end of the Bundesliga season in an 18-team league, they are in ninth and are 13 points ahead of Arminia Bielefeld, who occupies the third-last place in the table which results in a relegation play-off against third in the 2. Bundesliga.

When their survival is official, the German cub will then have to start the payment procedures as Milan will be owed €12m for the former Bodo/Glimt man, who has amassed 21 appearances with 2 goals and 2 assists.

  1. That’s the problem with this Milan, throwing away good players and bringing players like Messias, and keeping Castillejo

    1. I liked Hauge but I understand they have to generate some revenue and none of their current players like Castillejo and co. have any market, nobody wants them.

    2. You’re either an inter fan trolling or just hopped on the bandwagon. If you’ve been following this team Milan have been trying to sell Castillejo for two years. Additionally 2 goals and 2 assists in a season are hardly a sign that Milan gave up on the next great right winger. 12 million in capital gains will do far more than the player would have.

  2. The problem Milan has is always giving out the good players and keeping the bad ones. How can you sell this player and be keeping Saelemaekers and Messias in your squad. Hmmmmm it shall be well. Forza Milan tho

    1. I don’t understand how you all consider Hauge to be a “good player”? He never proved himself at Milan and seemingly has not proven himself in Germany either (statistically at least). Getting 12 million for him seems like a great move. Can someone please explain why they think he is good? He didn’t pass the eye test for me at Milan and he is not having a great season this year either as far as I can tell so why all the angst over a seemingly mediocre player?

      1. If hauge did not impress in milan where he was barely played but was our highest goal scorer I Europa wHere he was constantly played…he alsonsvored bit goal for us like the one in udinese, he was brilliant on the ball and far more technical than all our wingers except leao

How do you expect an instant improvement in a situation where he has not even settled…..get your facts right bro

        1. I think you are letting two solid appearances skew your perspective. He had very brief flashes of talent and scored timely goals on two occasions. He was otherwise a hindrance. He tracked back with more effort than Leap but was equally ineffective. As I stated, he is at beat a mediocre player and the ‘evidence’ you suggested does not change that. He scored against Celtic, Sparta Prague and Sampdoria. Hardly difficult teams. The only exception was one goal against Napoli. Everything is have seen and the stats for two seasons in 2 different top divisions support that he is no more than a mediocre player. Those are the facts “bro”.

  3. First of all – he was number 3 on LW.
Second of all – he had some moment but he wasn’t brilliant.
I would prefer if he would stay in Milan and go on Load to another team but well… not the First not the last youngster leaving team.

I would like to also say something – do you remember Cutrone? What you where thinking about him leaving Milan and where he is?!

Not every player become supa player.

  4. It is good he become capital gain just like Suso and cutrone. We need to do business like that as long as we still have 11 our core player. They need to sell as many unused young player for capital gain and keep useful young talent

  5. I prefer to keep him as a deputy of Leao and sell Rebic to other club. He is good in one on one like Leao…and good finishing too. The lack is speed and power ..he need to improve it…and I’m sure he will do this.
Now, we need a CAM to improve our attacking! One of them is Dybala (or others) to accompany Y.Adli (one of the best assister in League 1) and let Diaz back to RM.
Another position is RW…we need a smart, good pass & finishing player like Berrardi to accompany Saelemaekers, and let Messias & Samu go in the summer.

    1. Saelmaekers is no good also. We need to completely overhaul that RW. We already have Florenzi as backup to Calabria, so saelmaekers should be loaned out or sold.

      Get Noa lang and Berardi.
