AC Milan got the result they needed on Sunday night as they swept Sassuolo aside to win a 19th league title on what was a memorable evening.

The game was virtually over by half-time as Olivier Giroud netted a brace and then Franck Kessie added a third goal with all three assisted by Rafael Leao. That meant the celebrations could begin early as the team coasted to a 3-0 win. Below are the reactions of the players on social media…

Can’t express how much I am happy as well as.being happy for the guys
Esp Kalulu who was my absolute favorite just seeing him grow into a class defender. Tomori who I am happy to see welcomed as an Englishman into the Italian league and dominate at defending. Then finally Tonali watching him grow week by week and still have more to go. My three faves. So happy they won something and the Scudetto of all.
