A journalist has made the bold claim that AC Milan have almost completed the signing of midfielder Samuele Ricci from Torino.
According to Fabio Ravezzani, Milan have ‘practically closed’ a deal with Torino for Ricci. He also states that the Granata have got their replacement lined up too: Matteo Prati from Cagliari.
Of course these claims should be taken with a big pinch of salt, but Ravezzani is the director of QSVS and Top Calcio 24. In the past he worked for Torino and they are the team he supports, so he has in the past broken accurate information about them.
Milan’s interest in Ricci is not something that has come out of the blue, either. Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that the directors are looking to beat the competition by getting an agreement wrapped up early in view of next summer.
There has been talk of Manchester City being in the running for the Italy international too, given the injury to Rodri and having ageing players like Matteo Kovacic and Ilkay Gundogan within their ranks at present.
A situation to watch could be that of Luka Jovic too, who is believed to be of interest to Torino following Duvan Zapata’s injury, and the Rossoneri could allow him to go there in January to sweeten things.
“He also states that the Granata have got their replacement lined up too: Matteo Prati from Cagliari.”
That probably means that Manchester City have closed the deal.
We should take Matteo Prati from Cagliari too. Potential future star
So they’re saying Milan will buy Ricci, eh? What’s next? Mbappe wants to buy out his contract with Real and join Milan for free?
Yes. That’s correct. M’bappe will replace Leao who will be sold to Barcelona for 120m.
And Maldini will come back to replace Furlani?
Many of us here been saying go for Prati as well. If Torino gets their hands on him, they’ll be selling him in two year’s time for 40 millions.
Indeed. But they’ll be able to develop him. We won’t. It’s swim or sink if we get him.
Hmm I think I’ve seen this film before. Isn’t this film the one that ends with the conditions changing at the finishing line and then another club comes and snatches the player from under the noses of our slow, amateur managers?
That happens at all clubs not just Milan, how many players have Inter, Juventus, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona and Madrid taken from under their noses. Hell we pulled of the same cout by signing Reijnders when Barcelona wanted him.
Milan didn’t snatch Reijnders from Barcelona cause they didn’t bid. They merely showed an interest. People sell all kinds of stories nowadays…
Reijnders chose Milan over Barcelona.
We should have bought Prati in the summer
