Daily Mail: Milan must battle Premier League side to sign long-term attacking target

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are going to have to try and fend off interest from Premier League leaders Arsenal if they are to sign Noah Okafor from RB Salzburg this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported in the United Kingdom by The Daily Mail (via Calciomercato.com), Arsenal have emerged as another possible destination for the Swiss forward who has been linked with Milan since last summer.

The 22-year-old got 14 goals in 34 appearances for the Austrian side last season and when this summer comes, he will have one year left on his contract.

That is why he could be brought at a reduced price compared to his market value and that has alerted both Milan and Inter to his presence.

Unfortunately for them, Arsenal are also very interested and are reportedly willing to offer €25 million to the Austrian side so that they can have his services and continue building a talented young side.

  1. 14 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga…wow!

He has scored 7 this season…wow!

This is in the side that dominates that weak league.

I wonder how this translates to Serie A?

    1. Cheers. Lol this. If our scouting doesn’t see your point Milan is lost. They continually make the wrong signing. In “respetable Milan” we would sign some one like Julian brandt and renew leao simple. No we sign unproven hopeful cdk and expect him to help us win another scudetto. This team needed another “clear talent” to take it to the next level not renewing kessie was disaster. The old Milan is broken.

  2. from upamecano to keita over daka or aaronson and the first RBS player we buy is okafor? is there any smart guy available in red and black?
