Milan Primavera 1-1 Torino: Bonomi levels late on under the eyes of Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s Primavera side were forced to settle for a point at home against Torino this afternoon at the PUMA House of Football, but they did come from a goal behind to get it.

After a goalless first half, the away side took the lead through Aaron Ciammanglichella, who couldn’t miss when the ball went straight to him after Della Vecchia’s header had previously hit the post, and he did convert from close range.

Ciammanglichella nearly made it 2-0, but Raveyre did excellently to thwart Torino. In the same play, the Granata protested to the match director for an alleged penalty for a contact between Saba and Pellegrino, which however was not awarded.

A game-changing moment came with 15 minutes left on the clock when Silva was sent off for a rough late foul on Diego Sia, which left the referee with little option.

With just over six minutes left, Milan got their equaliser and it came thanks to a great ball from Nsiala and a finish from Bonomi.

Parmiggiani was very close to scoring the Rossoneri’s comeback with a dangerous shot from the edge of the area a minute later, but they would have to settle for a draw.

It is, however, a positive response after the midweek Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Fiorentina, a game they led 2-0 before collapsing to a 4-2 defeat.

According to MilanNews, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the youth sector head Vincenzo Vergine were to watch the match at the Vismara sports centre.
