Milan Primavera 2-1 Genoa: Camarda and Cuenca complete comeback

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s Primavera side completed a dramatic late comeback at the PUMA House of Football this afternoon, beating Genoa 2-1.

Heading into the final ten minutes it looked as though Genoa were going to complete a smash-and-grab win away from home when Omar collected a short rebound and beat Raveyre with a shot that seemed to surprise him more than anything.

In the 82nd minute, the Rossoneri got themselves level. Liberali took a corner from the left, Hugo Cuenca crossed it to the far post and Francesco Camarda took advantage of Consiglio’s uncertainty to net the equaliser.

Cuenca then completed the comeback right at the end of added time, with Consiglio again getting caught out, sparking jubilant scenes.

The result moves Milan one point behind rivals Inter at the top of the table and on to eight wins for the season. Given the amount of absences due to call-ups to the senior team, it is an even bigger win.
