Milan Primavera 2-4 Juventus: Rossoneri defeated but deserve more

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s Primavera side deserved more from their game against Juventus at the PUMA House of Football, losing 4-2 in the end.

Juventus stormed out to an early two-goal lead that made it look like it was going to be a long afternoon, but Diego Sia’s goal around the quarter-hour mark responded to the Bianconeri’s early brace to reopen the contest.

Ignazio Abate’s side went 3-1 down but again made it a one-goal game through Youns El Hilali’s goal, but the visitors found a fourth late in the second half to seal a win that feels unlucky for Milan, who had more chances and generally dominated.

Milan’s next fixture is on Saturday 4 February away at Sassuolo, where the mission is three points and an improved defensive display. The Rossoneri are on 17 points from 16 league games played and are surrounded by Inter, Napoli and Atalanta, all of whom are on the same or are within a point.
