Milan Primavera secured three very important points against Verona earlier today, thanks to a great performance at Vismara. Albeit possibly only temporarily, they are now at the top of the standings.
Federico Guidi’s boys headed into the clash with the confidence on top after the 3-1 win away at Fiorentina. The winning goals were scored late in the clash as well, which made the three points even better.
With a strong starting XI today as well, Milan took control of the game against Verona pretty quickly, and it was obvious that the away side wanted to focus on counter-attacks. After a couple of good chances, Alessandro Bonomi gave the Rossoneri the lead thanks to a great pass by Filippo Scotti.

Milan had chances to double the lead before the break, but had to wait until the 71st minute before they actually did. This time it was Scotti’s turn to find the back of the net, making the most of a great cross by Vincenzo Perrucci.
Scotti was involved in the third and final goal as well, as he was brought down in the box by a Verona defender and thus was awarded a penalty. Ernesto Perin stepped up and converted the penalty in style in the 85th minute.
The game finished 3-0 and Milan Primavera now sit at the top of the standings with 19 points after ten games. Fiorentina and Lazio will play tomorrow and could leapfrog the Rossoneri, but Guidi’s side still deserves praise.
Well done 👏 ✔️ ✅️ Boys
You are doing amazing things.
