AC Milan Primavera defender Riccardo Oddi has admitted that he idolises Theo Hernandez, describing his arrival at the club as a ‘dream’.

Oddi was interviewed by Milan TV about the season so far and about his personal aspirations, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews.

On recent matches: “Returning to play after a series of stops is not easy, but we have always come out with determination. Playing every three days has been very demanding but we have come out of this situation and will continue to fight.”

On the team: “We know our potential, we are a united group, we believe in ourselves, we love each other. We are all united to always aim high.”

On the arrival at Milan: “A wonderful emotion to go from football for play to football for work. A dream when Milan welcomed me, the day after signing the contract I put aside the emotion, because that must be a point of experience.”

On Theo Hernandez: “I am very inspired by him, every time I have the opportunity to train with the first team I give my best. Every time I train with them I exploit it as if it were the last.”

On the future: “Like any Rossoneri fan, the dream is to be able to continue my experience here at the Rossoneri.”

On the team’s target: “The goal is the playoffs, we’re playing for it.”
