Milan Primavera 2-0 Verona: Capone and an own-goal keep the Rossoneri in contention

By Oliver Fisher -

After last week’s defeat against Fiorentina, Milan Primavera got back in the win column with a 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona at the Vismara this afternoon.

Federico Giunti’s team took the lead after two minutes through Capone, who only had to push the ball into the net at the end of a great assist by Nasti, who took advantage of a defensive error by the Venetians.

The Rossoneri managed the game well, with Capone looking particularly inspired and producing good play. In the second half Milan doubled their lead thanks to an own goal by Kemppainen, after a good bit of creativity by Emil Roback. The result keeps Milan in play-off contention.

Among the positive notes is also the debut of Marko Lazetic who took over from Nasti in the 45th minute. However, he did not seem in the best shape due to the workload he has had in recent weeks. His game ended in the 77th minute, when he came off due to a physical problem, but it is not serious.
