By Oliver Fisher -

A meeting with Croatian side Hajduk Split awaits for Milan Primavera in Switzerland next month in the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League.

Ignazio Abate’s boys made history on Tuesday as they reached the final four of the youth version of the Champions League for the first time in their history thanks to a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

Now, the Primavera have found out who their next opponents will be. There will be a one-off match on 21 April in Nyon, Switzerland, to determine the two finalists who will do battle on the 24th.

Sporting CP and AZ Alkmaar are in the other semi-final, while for Milan it is Hajduk Split who await as the Croatian outfit beat Borussia Dortmund on penalties yesterday following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Hajduk’s path so far has seen them beat Gabala 5-1 on aggregate, Apolonia 6-1 over two legs, Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 in a one-off game and Manchester City 2-1 before the win against Dortmund yesterday.
