CM: Maldini and Massara programming for the future with four signatures targeted

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on sealing four signatures and hope to seal each in the coming weeks and months, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com reports how the key word is ‘programming’ at Casa Milan, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara hoping to give Stefano Pioli a more competitive squad for next season but also to get current key assets to commit their long-term future to the project.

The first and fundamental step is indeed to lock down some pillars of the squad and after the renewal of Theo Hernandez was made official earlier in the month, that of Ismael Bennacer will be done next week return of post and then it will also be the turn of Rafael Leao.

Immediately after that on Maldini and Massara’s agenda is to get deals for centre-back Sven Botman and midfielder Renato Sanches done with Lille. The report even goes on to add that barring unforeseen events, both will arrive at Milanello at the end of the season.
