CorSport: Milan could step up pursuit of PSG man in final days of the January window

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still interested in signing defender Abdou Diallo from Paris Saint-Germain but there are not currently the conditions to proceed with a deal, it is claimed.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Manchester United’s Eric Bailly is at the top of the list of targets for the Rossoneri but he is not the only profile under consideration by directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

After being initially linked last week, it seems that the hypothesis of moving for Diallo of Paris Saint-Germain has not gone away. He is admired for his reputation as a defensive wildcard given he is capable of acting both as a centre-back and as a left-back, so he could offer cover for Theo Hernandez too.

However, the problem is that the Ligue 1 giants have not lowered their demands from a transfer fee point of view which is why Milan might have to wait until the last days of January to get him via a loan formula.
