Another source has now confirmed the news that AC Milan have raised their offer to Rafael Leao and now feel confident about a renewal.
According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), there is confidence on the part of the Milan management regarding the renewal of Leao as very positive signals have come from the Portuguese player and his entourage.
Those positive signals came after Milan presented a sizeable offer of €7m net per season to Leao to try and convince him to extend his contract with the club beyond the current deadline of June 2024.
With all of the obstacles in the negotiation such as the question marks over who has power of attorney, the high salary demands, the interest of Premier League clubs and of course the fine owed to Sporting CP, it would certainly be a big statement from the player and the Rossoneri if they were to agree to go on together.
