There have been a few offers this summer for Malick Thiaw. However, each has been rejected, as he wants to stay at AC Milan.
This summer, there have been two approaches of note for Thiaw, from Como and Crystal Palace. The former had a bid accepted from Milan, though the German rejected the move for two reasons, and today, those reasons have been referred to again.

As Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes, the defender has rejected the approach from the Premier League club. The reasoning? He wants to stay and fight for a place in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans. Which is, of course, a possibility.
Thiaw to stay?
A move to Germany was also listed as a possible option at the start of the summer, but Bayer Leverkusen’s withdrawal from the picture has brought that into doubt. So, it is increasingly possible that he will stay put.
In this case, the Rossoneri would not buy a new defender. Partially as there would be no need, and also due to a lack of funds to do so. Importantly, this is without even considering the price of Giovanni Leoni, who remains the first choice.
Perhaps, there could be a case that both sides want to stay together, rather than parting this year.

Agree. If one of our CBs has to go, it has to be Fik. No offense, but honestly I think he has reached his ceiling.
The club needs to understand replacing good players is not cheap, he is a good player, with a good future, so selling him does not make sense.
Sell Tomori instead. I’d rather have Thiaw

Folks, I don’t know if you have noticed, but the quality of our CB’s is so high, that no one is breaking the door for them…

When he can tidy up his errors and propensity for ill timed fouls, he will be an excellent defender. Central defenders take more time to reach their potential. He is worth keeping and should Allegri be able to work those aspects of his game, we will be thrilled he stayed.
With more complete Midfielders and versatility in those positions, he will blossom and we will see his talent blossom.
Those are the issues aren’t they. For two years the same issues. Maybe that’s the problem.
Good. We keep the one CB with the long pass in his toolkit and a nice ceiling.
Too bad this was the players choice and not management. Would have spoken well for them.

It’s crazy how Tomori is untouchable while Thiaw keeps getting targeted. I hope the relationship between Allegri and Tomori will deteriorate like farce as soon as his theatrical attitude starts making mistakes on the pitch.
Pls keep Thiaw our only CB within uns of Potential and is pretty good rn as well
