GdS: Milan rejoice as De Ketelaere finally arrives – his schedule including potential debut

By Oliver Fisher -

After months of tough negotiations with Club Brugge, AC Milan finally have their man as they have announced the signing of Charles De Ketelaere.

As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the playmaker carried out the usual medical examinations yesterday and having signed a five-year contract with the Rossoneri for about €2.5m net per season, De Ketelaere will head to Milanello for the first time today where he will meet Stefano Pioli and will carry out his first training session with his new team-mates.

It will be a special day for the young Belgian who has chosen to wear the No.90 shirt just like he had at Brugge, which coincidentally is also the same number chosen by his compatriot Romelu Lukaku at Inter.

When will we see De Ketelaere in action? He wants to be involved as early as the first competitive game of the season August 13 against Udinese in Milan’s league debut, but his goal is to make his debut on Saturday in the last summer friendly against Vicenza.
