The AC Milan management have full faith in Fikayo Tomori and this should soon be recognised via a contract renewal, a report claims.
According to what Tuttosport (via MilanVibes) are reporting, discussions are well underway between Tomori’s entourage and the Milan directors regarding a new deal. His current one expires at the end of next season, so a natural crossroads was/is approaching in view of the summer.

On Sunday night against Juventus at San Siro, Tomori put in another solid performance on the right of the three-man defence. A scout for England manager Thomas Tuchel was also in the stands following him in view of the World Cup, and he did little to hurt his chances.
Tomori has returned to prominence with regards to the national team, after years under Gareth Southgate in which his name was rarely considered. That being said, the Englishman also struggled for form in the last couple of seasons too.
As mentioned, Tomori’s current agreement with Milan expires in 2027, but the idea is to extend the horizon to 2030. Contacts are ongoing and the paper states that there are no major snags or difficult-to-bridge gaps so far.
The Turin newspaper writes: “Talks are well underway between his entourage and the Rossoneri management to continue working together until 2030: positive sentiments are filtering through. Full steam ahead.”
The next step is difficult but also clear: maintain the same level of performance on the pitch and then hope that the phone rings in the next few weeks with Tuchel the caller, delivering good news about his presence at the World Cup.
Tomori is one of the few players that remain from the 2021-22 Scudetto-winning squad, so he should know what it takes to be part of a winning group, one that Milan hope they will return to being.
