AC Milan, despite dropping points at San Siro, will still have a slight hope of the Scudetto, despite the seven-point gap being solidified.
The draw against Como hurts. Whilst the Scudetto has never been the end goal for this season, it has been there, and Milan have probably allowed themselves to dream a little. Even if Massimiliano Allegri has tried to lower the hopes, he has led the side excellently.

It is an unfortunate reality, but the Diavolo have not helped themselves at times. Indeed, the draws against lower-ranked sides have hurt them a lot this season.
Nevertheless, they have often redeemed themselves with the wins against the European chasing outfits, which, if nothing else, have solidified their hopes of the Champions League next season.
The Derby
As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, via MilanNews, a draw has extended Inter’s lead at the top to a clear seven points, without the possibility of that gap being narrowed by a game in hand. At a key point of the season, that gap is massive.
It’s not enough to write the season off, but it is a clear gap, and the Derby della Madonnina will now hold a much larger significance.
This weekend, it’s Parma for the Rossoneri, whilst Inter travel back from Norway to face Lecce at the Via del Mare. In midweek, they then host Bodo Glimt, where they must overturn a two goal defecit to stay in the Champions League.
Following that, Chivu’s team will face Genoa and then Como in the Coppa Italia before the big day, whilst the Diavolo only need to deal with Cremonese.
Allegri’s team must collect six points from six to stay in the race ahead of that game; failing that, it doesn’t really matter what happens for the Nerazzurri.
It is what it is. I know the target was stability and top 4 but it feels we missed a chance to fight for the title (even though at the start of the season, that wasnt the primary goal). Let’s hope Inter’s hectic schedule makes them drop points here and there for us to make it a fight till the end.
The sad part is that Inter appears to have lost Lautaro due to injury. Also, watching Inter their play doesn’t seem as good. Imagine if ACM tried to win game rather then just tie.
