AC Milan have chosen the man they want to be the back-up to Davide Calabria and it is Alessandro Florenzi of Roma, according to a report.
As this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes, Florenzi is seen as an ideal reinforcement for the right flank given his versatility, as he can not only be the deputy to Calabria but could also possibly play a bit ahead and rotate with Alexis Saelemaekers.
There is no agreement between Milan and Roma on the formula of the operation, but Florenzi’s agent – Alessandro Lucci – and Tiago Pinto of Roma are working to find a deal that can satisfy all the parties involved, including Milan who are in a hurry to close.
Milan do not want to go beyond a loan with option to buy while Roma are holding firm on requesting an obligation to buy, with a compromise expected somewhere in between.
