AC Milan are willing to invest €10m in order to seal the signing of Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli, according to a report.
Virtually every major source is now reporting that Milan have settled on Adli as their favoured midfield reinforcement. The 21-year-old – who came through the academy at PSG – has shown impressive signs in the last couple of seasons and has the added bonus of being able to play either as a central midfielder or in a more advanced playmaker role.
According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan are pressing hard to convince Bordeaux to sell him in a short time. The newspaper notes that the management have already spent €60m in the summer window to sign Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz and Olivier Giroud, but are ready to go to €70m.
That is because Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ready to pay €10m to sign Adli outright from the Ligue 1 side this summer.
