Reports: Pobega-Zaniolo exchange speculation grows as Milan plot new bid

By Oliver Fisher -

The Nicolo Zaniolo rumours have not gone away since he was first mentioned as a transfer target for AC Milan a couple of weeks ago, and they have gathered further momentum.

According to what was reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Zaniolo has expressed a positive reaction towards the idea of joining Milan this summer while the interest is mutual because the Rossoneri want him to reinforce the attack.

The Giallorossi are asking for at least €45m to sell him while Milan have has tried to bring the cash amount down in recent days with the inclusion of some counterparts such as Alexis Saelemaekers and Ante Rebic.

The latest name to enter the speculation is Tommaso Pobega who the capital club would accept as a counterpart. This is backed up by Corriere di Roma (via MilanNews) who claim that Milan are readying a new bid with Pobega as a part of it.

    1. Locatelli who? Such an overrated and flat player which the only thing he can do is to pass the ball back to the defenders.

We need physical box to box midfielder like Pobega next year
