CorSera: Milan set sights on Roma duo in search for Kessie’s replacement

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to replace Franck Kessie and they have their eye on two Roma midfielders, according to a report from the local media.

According to the Corriere di Roma (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are in the market for a new player who can play in the double pivot given that Kessie is on his way to Barcelona at the end of the season and they are looking towards the Giallorossi.

The management are admirers of Italy international Bryan Cristante who would cost about €20-25m and also has interest from clubs in Spain. He spent four years in the youth academy at Milan from 2009 until 2013, and this season he has 2 league goals.

Milan are also fans of Jordan Veretout, who instead has a valuation of €18m and there is competition from Inter to sign the Frenchman. He has 4 goals and 7 assists in 29 league matches so far for Roma in 2021-22.
