AC Milan are continuously monitoring the best young Italian talents to bolster the core of the squad and they are battling Inter for two players, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri scouting area is always on the lookout for young talents not only abroad but also within Serie A, and a profile that has caught the attention of Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini is Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo.
The 22-year-old midfielder was at Monza last season and has had a great start to the current campaign with 3 goals in 15 appearances. He is contracted to the Neroverdi until 2025, and the Roma-born mezzala is also very popular with Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.
Another name that the scouting area like is 21-year-old left-back Andrea Cambiaso of Genoa. The Italy U21 international was one of the only Rossoblu players who impressed in the match two days ago at the Marassi, so exploratory contacts in view of next summer have been started.
