Tuttosport: Milan set season ticket target amid sales rush – prices much cheaper than Juve

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s season ticket sales are continuing to flourish and the club have set a target that they want to hit as a total, according to a report.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan’s season ticket campaign is going well and those within the club have set the goal of reaching 40-45 thousand season tickets sold in total, which should mean that San Siro is filled most of the time.

In addition to the excitement generated by the Scudetto win and more generally the return to seeing Milan compete for trophies, the race to secure season tickets was also possible thanks to very affordable prices.

This is especially apparent when comparing against the competition. In the most popular sectors such as the second tier behind the goal, the Rossoneri are offering a season ticket of €270 which is less than half of the €650m that Juventus are asking for in comparable areas of their stadium.

  1. I’d bet we will have higher prices than Juve with the new ownership. Liverpool has 2.5 times more expensive seasons tickets compared to Man City. US owned at the top, their goal is to take more money from fans.

      1. Sure. Check in 5 years and compare to others. You can buy a season ticket for Real Madrid for under the price of ours, after they won the CL 5 times in recent history. If Milan won the CL like that, the season ticket would be 550+€ for the cheapest one. They are here to make money, face it.

      1. No it is not, they did not complete the sale yet, it was just signed. The process of actually transfering the ownership is much longer. Milan is in the process of sale to a new owner. We will have higher prices within 5 years, of course you don’t triple the ticket price right away. If you geniuses can’t see a patern with US clubs and how much money they pull from fans by increasing the price of everything it is your problem, not mine…
