MN: Milan planning to make six additions this summer – the positions and the names

AC Milan are having another positive season and are top of the league with eight games to go, but there is still a desire to improve the squad.

MilanNews report that there are six new additions planned at the moment. The first was done last summer and is Yacine Adli, the versatile 21-year-old midfielder who has a goal and 7 assists for Bordeaux this season.

A central defender will certainly arrive and it should be Sven Botman, joining a defensive department comprising of Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria, with Pierre Kalulu and the returning Simon Kjaer not to be forgotten.

Meanwhile Fode Ballo-Tourè has not convinced so the arrival of a left-back who could replace him – perhaps an Italian player to help with the UEFA squad list requirements – is expected.

In the midfield, without counting the return of Tommaso Pobega, a replacement for Kessie will arrive but with different characteristics. The chosen man is Renato Sanches of Lille, whose agent Jorge Mendes is expected in Milan in the coming days for a meeting over the renewal of Leao.

In attack Divock Origi is on pole to be the new centre-forward but Gianluca Scamacca is also very much admired, especially given Inter have encountered some difficulties in negotiations.

In addition to a No.9, a player will also arrive who guarantees production in the attack, with Domenico Berardi the man that Stefano Pioli wants but Sassuolo have asked for a big amount, while Noa Lang of Club Brugge remains an option.
