It took AC Milan over 100 minutes to get their noses in front against Genoa during last night’s Coppa Italia last 16 clash, but they got the job done with a 3-1 win after extra-time.

A lethargic and underwhelming first half performance proved problematic for Milan, with Genoa taking a deserved 1-0 lead into the break following a header from debutant Leo Ostigard, but Giroud levelled after 74 minutes before Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers scored in extra-time to secure progression.
