GdS: Milan will soon have three Ibrahimovics – his children will join the academy

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s legacy with AC Milan is unlikely to come to an end once the 2022-23 season is over as his children will aim to follow his footsteps, a report claims.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports how the Swedish striker returned to Milanello earlier this week to continue his physiotherapy after having carried out most of his recovery from knee surgery in Sardinia together with a personal staff.

Yesterday Ibra also did some work in the gym and had lunch with his team-mates where he also had the opportunity to meet the new signings Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere, while he will also be at San Siro on Saturday for the opening game of the season against Udinese.

After that, Ibrahimovic will return to Sardinia again for some more physio and then he will eventually go back to Sweden. Then, he will return to Milan from October to continue his work and gradually join the group.

The paper adds that Milan will soon have no longer just one Ibrahimovic but three as his sons Maximilian (15) and Vincent (13) will join the Under 17 and Under 15 teams. They currently play for Hammarby, but will wear the Rossoneri shirt from October onwards.

The older of the two has already been called up to train with the best players in Stockholm as part of a trial involving 83 other young players that took place back in February, showing there is talent there as well as the name on his back.
