AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali has made the shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy award, it has been officially confirmed.
The award is managed by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and aims to celebrate the best young players in European football. There are a number of names that you would expect to feature such as Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies and Ansu Fati of Barcelona, as well as Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland of Dortmund.
Milan have the only Italian candidate among their ranks though in Sandro Tonali.
