MN: Milan still considering Bonera sacking – the new replacement idea

Despite reports that AC Milan will not sack Daniele Bonera before this weekend, the idea about his dismissal has not gone away, and the club are making a new consideration.

It has been a very hectic few days in relation to the Bonera situation, but it seems he will remain the Milan Futuro head coach until at least this weekend. However, this long term future is far from secure, and this comes as no shock.

The Futuro project was supposed to be exciting, and whilst the prospect of it still is, it has been disappointing in its infancy so far. Not only are some players not living up to expectations within the set-up – see Francesco Camarda, who struggled in the youth team, but is finding a place with the First Team.

Camarda’s situation, for example, is one that Bonera has been frustrated by, and this is reportedly a drawback for some coaches. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri are keeping ideas of a replacement on the table.

This afternoon, Milan News reports that Massimo Oddo could replace the current head coach. At present, Jovan Kirovski and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are ‘seriously considering’ choosing Bonera’s former teammate to become the new leader of the Futuro.

  1. Management desperate not to admit to yet ANOTHER fk up… already had to swallow their pride and hit the panic button in the transfer window, now having to admit firing Abate for this clown was the dumbest idea possible

    1. They have quickly moved to make changes, in terms of coaches and players. That’s called good management. They know they screwed up. They have nothing to hide. Stop complaining when they do the right thing, Emerson.

  2. If they wait longer what do they want the next coach to do when he will be here? Why do they keep digging a deeper hole for the next coach?

  3. Nooooo…. Do not sack him. He’s legend. OUR LEGEND. OUR LORD. He has plenty of ideas, unfortunately the players can’t understand them 😆

    1. were you around on goal.com back in the day? 😂😂😂 that is where I recall him being bestowed with that honourable title

  4. just take Abate… he know most of the young players, can get the best out of them and just getting sacked from Ternana for ridiculous reason.

should be a no brainer except for some ego.
