Sportitalia: Milan’s clear strategy for the summer window evident since January

AC Milan are putting in groundwork on transfer targets ahead of time to try and win the race to sign various targets, a report claims.

Even though the Scudetto battle continues to rage on and is now tighter than ever, Sportitalia (via MilanNews) are reporting that the Rossoneri management are hard at work programming the operations that will give the squad more quality pieces.

Since January the club have been focused on signing Sven Botman from Lille, making him the number one objective and dedicating their efforts to landing him in view of the summer, while the same can be said about Renato Sanches too.

Then, the pursuit of Divock Origi is also one where Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have moved ahead of time to try and beat the competition, to bolster the attack from a numerical point of view but also to add some youthful presence to it too.
