AC Milan’s winter transfer window might not have ended with the deals for Joao Felix and Warren Bondo, according to reports.

According to MilanNews, the incoming market is not over yet despite the arrivals of Felix and Bondo from Chelsea and Monza respectively. The Rossoneri management are in fact also trying to close a deal for Riccardo Sottil of Fiorentina.

As a reminder, Matteo Moretto of Relevo reported earlier today that Milan and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for Sottil over a paid loan with an option to buy set at around €10m. However, it was said to be dependent on them finding a replacement.

Nicolo Zaniolo has since joined from Atalanta which perhaps slightly opens the door for Sottil, but time is running out to try and close the operation before the 00:00 CET deadline.

Sottil can play as an attacking midfielder or winger, and has five goals plus three assists in 25 games across all competitions this season for La Viola.

It could possibly be linked to how the Samuel Chukwueze situation plays out, given that the Nigeria international has apparently been the subject of a late approach from Fulham. As mentioned, though, time is running out for things to be completed.

Gianluca Di Marzio and our own Luca Maninetti also confirm that Milan are looking to finish the window with a final flourish.

UPDATE: Fabrizio Romano has given the ‘here we go’. The deal in place is a €1m loan fee plus €10m buy option.

  1. Please Acmilan should bring in Sottil fast but we should not sell chukwueze so we can be playing Felix or Reijnder as attacking midfield then leao or pulisic as winger while Santiago Gimenez will play centre forward thanks for bringing in Warren Bondo.

    1. Chukwueze is probably going out on loan to Fulham with this deal done. It is the right move because Felix can play LW/RW and CAM. The same goes for Pulisic and with Noah gone to Napoli and Sotill a RW. I can see Chukwueze getting little to no time to start and going to the PL to play is important for him and the club.

The thing is he hasn’t acclimated to Serie A since last season. He has to move on.

    2. GET RID OF THE ONE-FOOTED LOSER !!!!!!! FOR ALL OF YOU NON FOOTBALL PEOPLE THAT WOULD OBVIOUSLY MEAN CHUKWUEZE …. SORRY TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS KELECHI MILAN

  2. That sure was a crazy transfer window.
In these last 3 days alone we got 3 forwards and 1 midfielder while selling/loaning 1 fullback, 2 midfielders and 2 forwards and could’ve sold/loaned more.
And I’m not even sure we’ve seen the last of it.

    1. I would replace them with any random guy. Regarding who comes in … We will see, for example, Morata for sure was by far more guaranteed to who ever this Mexican guy is. Lets see.

      1. The only guarantee about Morata was that he doesn’t score enough. How he has played for multiple big clubs (signed for big money in most) across Europe still baffles me till this day.

  3. This looks like a good move.
We have a backup for Leao, a position where no one can expect to play a lot, but he can also cover AM and RW, so he should get some chances to prove himself.
If Chukwueze is sold then this is the best window in years.

  4. Wow good deal with versatility. Milan changed half of the squad in a week. Positive are Okafor and Chuk has left. If only Emerson Royal not injured, it would be him leaving instead of Calabria.

  5. Fast, powerhouse on the wing as a backup is always good for Conceicao bully ball style. If any of you watched the UYL you’ll see that Porto when we played them bullied our Primavera with strength. He develops his players and youth with that in mind.

  6. The advantage of getting players within the league like Sottil and Bondo, is that they already know the league well. So less adaptation period needed. I’m positive with these signings.

  7. sigh…so we trade Okafor over a player who rarely produce goal and assist at Fio. His record is 1 goal & 1 assist from 18 match lmao.

Yeah this season we’re fking cooked. Thank you Cardinale, Furlani, Ibra, and Moncada 🤦‍♂️

    1. “His record is 1 goal & 1 assist from 18 match lmao.”

Still better than Okafor’s though. And if you look at ALL the matches this season, it gets way better:

Total 24/25: 25 matches, 5 goals & 3 assists. That’s more than Okafor AND Chukwueze could do combined. Who’s laughing now?

  8. I had to double-check. And it really looks like he actually IS Italian! I still can’t believe it. Someone must have worked behind Moncada’s back here because there is no way in h3ll he sanctioned this deal!

    1. Not just this deal, all of them. Only Bondo is a Moncada signing. The other players aren’t Moncada profiles. We’ll know the full story eventually.
