Milan target discusses interest from big clubs: “I don’t feel pressure”

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan target Giorgio Scalvini has played down the interest in him from various big clubs in Europe as he focuses on the end of the season with Atalanta.

Speaking during an interview with TMW, the Atalanta defender refused to get too involved in the speculation that suggests he could be joining a bigger Italian club or even a Premier League side in the summer.

The Italian is a known target of Milan, but he is also attracting interest from Inter, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool and more.

He has stressed that he does not feel any pressure from the various rumours and he is only focused on ensuring he continues to play well on the pitch.

“I am calm, I don’t feel pressure from news, from rumours, I can isolate myself and only think about what I have to do on the pitch, in training, what the coach and my teammates ask me to do,” Scalvini said.

On the calibre of clubs being linked with a move for Scalvini, he admitted that it can be nice to hear these things but again played down the importance of it.

“It can be nice, but I just read in passing. I’m focused here, at Atalanta. None of us can know what the future holds for me, I just have to think about doing well at Atalanta,” he said.

    1. Scalvini and Thiaw in a back 2 or 3 together, particularly after they have played 50 to 100 games together?

Imagine a Theo, Scalvini, Thiaw, Kalulu back 4 in 2025/2026. FMD, I doubt it would be possible to compile a better back 4.

  1. No room in CB anymore . We need prolific striker. Scalvini wont come unless ACM sell tomori 50-60m euro to EPL club . But ACM can use CDK as chip swap for scalvini if they need CB
