Giornale: Milan consider star duo unsellable amid Spurs and Arsenal rumours – renewals are close

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are planning to reward two of their key players for their development last season amid speculation that there is interest gathering from the Premier League.

As reported by Il Giornale (via MilanNews), Milan are also working on the renewals of Pierre Kalulu and Sandro Tonali, two great protagonists of the last season in which the Rossoneri ended their 11-year wait for the Scudetto.

Both are expected to extend their contracts until 2027 with a significant pay rise as part of it, given how much the French centre-back and the Italian midfielder showed off their development with crucial performances and goals.

The paper notes how some market rumours speak of an interest from Tottenham for Kalulu and from Arsenal for Tonali, but for the Diavolo they are considered absolutely not transferable for any price. Instead, the move is to offer them a renewal and lock them down for the long term.

    1. Leadership group is enough for Tonali for now. Calabria is Milan’s darling for captaincy. Consistent, gives their all, you can tell they want to be a 1-club player.

      1. No Calabria should remain the captain he knows how to lead the team well plus he knows how important it is to wear the arm band
