Milan train ahead of Chelsea trip with Primavera trio involved – video

By Oliver Fisher -

Training is underway at Milanello ahead of AC Milan’s departure for London in view of the Champions League clash with Chelsea tomorrow night.

Milan are in an injury crisis at the moment as Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Simon Kjaer, Theo Hernandez, Alexis Saelemaekers, Junior Messias and Divock Origi have all come down with issues in addition to the already long-term absentee Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As reported by MilanNews among others, there are three Primavera players that are training with the first time: centre-back/right-back Andrei Coubis, midfielder Antonio Gala and goalkeeper Lapo Nava. Origi also trained with the group, so he is back.

  1. We should’ve called up Chaka Traore, Coubis and Stalmach.
    We could have

Leao – Giroud – Traore up front with Stalmach in the midfield as backup and Coubis as our starting RB. I trust him more than Dest

  2. we’ll see if they could impress the coach in this call up and got involved in future fixtures or not. andrei coubis had a high chance with both florenzi and calabria absence. but we’ll see.
