AC Milan have preferred to do their shopping abroad in recent windows, but a report claims that they have their eyes on a star Sampdoria duo.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the management are studying their next moves for the future and how to make the squad available to head coach Stefano Pioli even more competitive and complete.
The source claims that Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini have set their sights on a Sampdoria duo. The first is central defender Omar Colley, a 29-year-old who could take Alessio Romagnoli’s place at the end of the season if the captain does not renew.
The second player on the wish list is that of playmaker Mikkel Damsgaard, who has been linked to Milan for some time and has been admired for months. However, the Dane is also in the sights of Inter and Juventus and their president Massimo Ferrero is asking for no less than €30-35m to sell.
