AC Milan are lining up a move for Samuele Ricci in view of the summer transfer window but they face strong competition, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport, there will be a rather interesting situation on Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino as Ricci will return from suspension to be at the disposal of head coach Paolo Vanoli and he will face off against the team that hope to sign him in a few months.

Ricci renewed his contract with Torino back on January 2, signing a new deal until 2028 with a pay rise as recognition from his importance. However, he will still most likely be sold when the season ends, it just allows the Granata to have more leverage.

Torino president Urbano Cairo valued him at €40m and knows that there are many teams interested in signing the Italy International, such as both Milan clubs as well as Manchester City and Real Madrid.

However, the Rossoneri are the team with the most concrete interest at present. On Saturday, there will be the chance for Sergio Conceicao and the directors to watch him up close to then decide if he is indeed one of the missing pieces of the midfield puzzle.

    1. What are you all smokin, he’s a B2B midfielder, from relegation zone club, no goals nor assists, not a starter level, and he will take above 5 or 10 millions to sign….

  1. Bla bla bla …
With cardinale, ibra, furlani, moncada and concencaio around who would be such an idiot to join milan???
Maldini was dumped for no apparent reason at all ….. so why keep these clowns if they can only lead milan to hell and destroy the club?
