AC Milan are expected to make a big investment in the signing of a new striker next summer and Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins is one of the names they are apparently following.
With Olivier Giroud now 37 years of age and no longer able to start every game and with Luka Jovic yet to give any signs that his stay will be extended beyond next summer, the Milan management are looking for a long-term option for the No.9 role.
A number of different targets have been linked such as Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig and Jonathan David of Lille, with new names emerging all the time.
Michele Fratini – an intermediary and scout – spoke to Rai (via MilanNews) and declared that Milan are among the clubs that are carefully following Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, who is under contract there until June 2028.
Watkins is 27 years of age and has four goals (plus four assists) in eight Premier League games this season, having scored 15 league goals last season, meaning that he would likely have a high asking price.
Wow this guy is absolutely great and he is cheaper than David cause he is 27
This guy is very good but i doubt this Will happen . Aston villa is doing really good and he’s getting the numbers
They can watch as much as they want – he signed a new 5 year contract last week, so unless they’re willing to pay over 150 million euros he won’t be going anywhere. XD
If we can get him, for some sort of favourable price it will be so fuc**ng awesome. A complete striker.
Haha – no chance!
