GdS: Milan’s stance unwavering as Zaniolo is poised to remain stuck at Roma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will not make a move for Nicolo Zaniolo before the end of the window and instead will wait a few months, according to a report.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the situation for Zaniolo is complicated as the winger refused Bournemouth’s big offer and now he risks being marginalised at Roma, especially based on Jose Mourinho’s words.

Even Spurs were not willing to adhere to the terms of Giallorossi, while Milan did not change their position either. Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ready to talk to their Roma counterpart Tiago Pinto as early as tomorrow if a glimmer of hope opens over a loan with obligation to buy triggered upon qualifying for the Champions League.

However, at present it only seems possible that Milan and Zaniolo will talk this summer, when the 23-year-old will only have a year left on his deal and Roma will have to soften their stance.
