The attention of AC Milan will immediately turn to the renewal meeting with Rafael Leao after the match against AS Roma has passed, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, the Rossoneri are starting to think that Leao’s renewal will take place but a crucial meeting is scheduled for the start of next week with his entourage.
One major obstacle was cleared earlier in the week as Leao and his camp agreed that Milan should not be a part of the fine that he and Lille owe Sporting CP after his departure from the club in 2018.
Milan think that the next meeting could be decisive as they just need to agree on the salary and the release clause.
It would send a serious message of ambition to the rest of the squad as well as the whole of Serie A of Milan can hold onto what is considered the best player in the league.
