One new addition that Stefano Pioli can look forward to welcoming is Yacine Adli, who was bought from Bordeaux last summer and was left on loan there for the season.
Adli will report for preseason training Milanello on July 4th with the rest of the squad and MilanNews recalls that it has not been the easiest of seasons for the 21-year-old as Bordeaux suffered relegation to the second tier after finishing bottom.
He managed one goal and eight assists in the league last season and critics may focus on those figures to discredit the former PSG man, but rather Pioli will be looking forward to a versatile and talented player who could thrive in a more stable environment and with more prosperous surroundings.
The performances of Brahim Diaz after he recovered from Covid last season caused alarm and the loss of Franck Kessie suggests that Adli could actually arrive and find a lot of playing time originally. The use of a player like Rade Krunic – who is also capable of playing deeper or out wide – shows that Pioli values the multi-functional players.
It is also possible that another name could arrive for the attack who is deemed more ready to be a starting player, with Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang of Club Brugge on the wish list. Adli will undoubtedly have to work hard if he is to get a starting spot, but first of all his new coach and team-mates are getting ready to welcome him with open arms.
This guy is going to take Serie A by storm. Brilliant offensive passing, and hard worker.
yeahh, he is good !
I believe we are settled in the midfield with Tonali, Bennacer, Adli and potentially Sanchez.
Now we need a Quality RW, CB and AM, then get quality deputy to Theo. and please Belotti
