MN: At least four Milan players deemed surplus to requirements and set to be sold this summer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s management are beginning to plan for next season and it could spell bad news for some players who are surplus to requirements.

The Rossoneri secured their return to the Champions League thanks to a 2-0 victory over Atalanta last Sunday, and that his given Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara even more mandate to go out and construct a team capable of completing for trophies next season.

According to MilanNews, there will be some victims of this process in the form of four (or more) players who are currently out of favour. Midfielder Rade Krunic could leave after two years, while winger Samu Castillejo is also not part of the club’s plans.

Not only that, but the source notes how several players returning from loans such as full-back pairing Diego Laxalt and Andrea Conti are also likely to return and head straight out rather than compete for a place in the squad.

  1. Why say so? Smiles… Well, it may turn out true that he isn’t leaving. He’d be a Borini-esque player which the team would not want to sell, not that he’s that fantastic player but because he can fit in different roles.
