AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is close to getting another player back from injury as Fode Ballo-Toure is back with the squad, a report claims.
In the 91st minute of Milan’s 3-0 friendly loss against PSV, Ballo-Toure – who had come on as a substitute in the second half as part of a mass rotation – went off the field in pain due to a shoulder injury after playing for 25 minutes.
It was then confirmed that the Senegal international had sustained a dislocated shoulder and he had to undergo a minor operation on it to make sure everything was back in place, with an estimated recovery time (as of January 2) of a month.
MilanNews report that Ballo-Touré returned to training with the rest of the squad at Milanello today having fully recovered from his shoulder issue and the after-effects of surgery. The former Monaco man should therefore be called up for Sunday’s match against Sassuolo.

We are trying to build up to quickly and rushing to much …slow down a little bit ,and the passing should come more naturally..Rafael Leao had a great understanding last year as to the whereabouts of Oliver Giroud..Now Rafael is not able to get passed his last man and put crosses in ..That’s one of the reasons Oliver Giroud is not scoring goals ..the service to him against lazio was not existent..All we try to do is Score goals from 20 plus yards out ,instead of patiently building up play and then using the wide men..we are not building up from the back ,then to the midfield and so on ..Yes confidence seem to have gone ..
