MN: Bennacer suffers a right hamstring muscle injury – new check-up in 10 days

By Oliver Fisher -

Midfielder Ismael Bennacer will have to undergo further tests in 10 days after sustaining a muscle problem during AC Milan’s 2-2 draw with Parma.

Pioli was forced into an early change less than five minutes in last night when Matteo Gabbia went down after a challenge for a loose ball and he was unable to continue, and it has since emerged that he has suffered a strain to his collateral ligament and will miss over a month.

There were yet more injury problems for Pioli to deal with as Bennacer limped off 15 minutes from time, replaced by Sandro Tonali.

According to what is being reported by Anto Vitiello of MilanNews, Bennacer has sustained a right hamstring muscle injury and will be evaluated again in 10 days.

Our assumption from this is that it could be similar to the one that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer have recently suffered with, and therefore he could miss 3-4 weeks.
