MN: Cagliari put forward offer totalling €10m for Milan full-back with talks ongoing

By Oliver Fisher -

Cagliari have made an offer to try and sign AC Milan full-back Davide Calabria and are in talks over a deal, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are set to undergo a reshuffle in the right-back department this summer after both Andrea Conti and Calabria both had poor seasons.

The suggestion at the moment seems to be that Calabria is the player more likely to be sold as there is interest from abroad in his signature and any money raised would be a pure capital gain as he came through the Primavera.

There have been rumours that Milan are negotiating with Spurs for Serge Aurier, but his arrival is likely to rest on the sale of one of the aforementioned duo.

According to MilanNews, Cagliari want to sign Calabria and have even made their first offer. The Sardinian side have put forward a bid totalling €10m, that being €8m plus €2m in bonuses, and they are now in talks with Milan who want more.
