In view of this evening’s Champions League match between Milan and Newcastle, there was a lunch in Milano between leaders of the two clubs.
According to MilanNews, Gerry Cardinale – the number one of RedBird Capital who own Milan – invited Amanda Staveley from the Saudi fund PIF who own Newcastle United for a lunch in the city before the game.
Representing the Rossoneri, in addition to Cardinale and several members of the RedBird board, are CEO Giorgio Furlani, the president Paolo Scaroni and the Chief Financial Officer. Also present at the lunch was a UEFA delegate.
