MN: Chelsea game the target set as Milan forward is close to full recovery

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is hoping to welcome Divock Origi back into the fold for a crucial game that will see the forward return to England, a report claims.

Origi has been struggling with a muscle issue that has in turn caused a tendon problem to flare up and it has forced him to miss the last few games. He is currently in Belgium working with the national team doctor and hoping to get back as soon as possible.

According to the latest from MilanNews, the recovery of Origi is progressing well and the Belgian forward is feeling much better. He should be back on the pitch next week where he will aim to get back to match fitness.

Milan have set the target of a return for Origi in the match against Chelsea on 5 October in what will be the first of a crucial back-to-back against the Premier League side in the Champions League group stages either side of the game against Juventus.
